Atra Aeterna - A different kind of music.

Atra Aeterna is the solo musical project of Zack Mitchell, who creates haunting, cinematic pieces that blur the line between electronic and classical music.

I will say a must try.

"Lux AEterna" - Best dark composition ever.

Please read before listening.

Most of us have seen  the epic cult movie "Requim for a dream" and felt its after effects of watching. For many peoples, this is the movie you can't resist watching and also regret after watching it.And that's why it has been known as cult drama that this was not suitable for general public and ahead of time.Well,I didn't take "ahead of time " point. But apart from movie what made it different was its soundtrack which was so perfect  and fit in scenes that i can't imagine any other music over them.

The main track "Lux Aeterna" by Client Mansell is the perfect dark song for the movie. If you are orchestra lover kinda person and love piano compositions then it is perfect treat for you if you are  not with a faint heart .I will rank this song as the best dark song that till date i have heard. It was the Letimotif for RFAD i.e recurring theme of the film. This track belive me can take you in different dimensions if you listen it lonely with no interferences on your earphones. The theme was such a hit that it was used subsequently in movie trailors such as LOTR ,Lost,I am legend and games. It was reorchestrated by Client Mansell for LOTR 2:THE TWO TOWERS official trailer as "Requim for a tower".

As i said that it is a dark song,i will share one incidence.I was listening to "Lux Aeterna" in my room on my music speakers with a pretty high volume and suddenly one of my flatmate entered in my room and he said " why you keep playing this song, its like somebody is dead".I just passed it by saying that you know nothing about this song to comment. The music was meant to be like this and it can't be better than this.

The best dark song i say, give it a try.

WARNING: Listeners discretion advised. Not for a faint heart.

Also, check its reorchested version in LOTR trailer ->

Korn (Featuring Skrillex) - Get Up!

Well,All metal fans must be familar with "KORN" and many of you must be die hard fans of KORN.Its very hard to remember the play counts of "Freak on a Leash" & "Here to stay" on then sony walkmans, disc players and now on laps & Ipods for fans of KORN like me.This Nu Metal gods are back with a bang and bonus of most insane/mad dubstep producer "SKRILLEX" for their new album with song named "Get up".After listening,my sensors picked up two  main things - 1. The Mum-MumMumMum patented effect of KORN and seriously you will love it if you listened to KORN in past.

2.The Thrill mixing of SKRILLEX and yes the level of mixing is not that too much as it is generally found in solo SKRILLEX work.

But this is for sure, with fusion of the masters, strong lyrics, this will be a sure treat to both - Fans of KORN & SKRILLEX.

HAPPY LISTENING!!ENJOY!!

Cosmic Gate(ranked 19th in DJ Mag Top 100) Smirnoff Experience Tour In India

Over 10 boundary-pushing years, Nic Chagall and Bossi have evolved Cosmic Gate into one of the most creative and highly-sought-after electronic music acts in the world. Revered uber-producers, their musical acumen has seen them become long-term favourites of the trance's Big 5 DJs with their 4 hugely-received albums transporting anthems like 'Body of Conflict', ,Not Enough Time', 'I Feel Wonderful', ,F.A.V.', 'Analog Feel', or the classics 'Exploration of Space' and Fire Wire to the dancefloor. As DJs, their kinetic, blood-pumping live performances are seen by hundreds of thousands of club and festival goers annually. Playing a 100 nights every year, it's this ever-visible club presence that saw them reach their highest position to-date on the DJ Mag Top 100, landing as highest climbers at No.19 in 2009.
Over their production lifetime, Cosmic Gate has become as well known for their remixes as they have for their productions. Essentially a blow by blow of trance music's A-list, Nic and Bossi lent their studio know-how to productions by the likes of Tiƫsto, Ferry Corsten, Above & Beyond's OceanLab project, Paul Van Dyk, Deadmau5, Rank 1 and Blank & Jones. Most recently they rewired John O'Callagan's 'Find Yourself' to devastating effect, put their hands on Armin van Buurens ,Rain' and created two highly-praised remixes of 'Vincent De Moor - Fly Away' and 'Veracocha - Carte Blanche'. They also made a remix of the main theme song "I See You" by James Horner & Leona Lewis from the blockbuster movie "Avatar" which became one of the greatest club smash hit in 2010.
This german trance group has ruled the kingdom of hardcore trance over a decade and are one of the favorites for all clubbers around the world.
They are touring Mumbai,Delhi and Banglore next month as part of a 3  city Smirnoff Experience Tour. They have recently performed @ Ministry Of Sound,Gallery,London ,Godskitchen,Bristol etc.
I am sad,i will miss them due to final exams.............
